Sometimes it gets a little tricky determining what is appropriate for this board.  Based on what I've seen going through the topics I'm going to give a brief run-down of what goes here vs. Crafty Business Discussion vs. other areas.

So, when should you post here?  When you are looking for opinions on:

  • your own website
  • your own completed products
  • your own logo designs
  • your own business card designs

basically anything that you already have set up and want opinions on, that's what we're here for!

When shouldn't you post here?  When you want to:

When in doubt, you can always PM me!

Question: Based on what I ("Newbie") see in this thread, solicitations of opinions is almost exclusively what fills it. If that isn't what is supposed to be under discussion, please clarify what IS included in this thread. (It looks interesting and potentially very helpful, so I'm trying to figure out what the "rules" are!)--THANKS.

I'm assuming by thread you really mean board?

This board is exclusively for getting opinions on your products or website.

The Crafty Business discussion board is for everything else business related.
For example, discussions about webhosting, advertising, shipping and packaging, copyrights, etc.

The Selling on Etsy board is for questions and discussion that applies almost exclusively to Etsy and not to general business.

Does that answer your question?
