Those wristwarmers are cute.  I like the buttons and the bits of stitching.

Grin They came to my rescue already this morning.

I forgot to mention that alwaysinmyroom's bookmark is quite intricate.  Is it tatted? braided?  How did you make it?  It is nicely detailed for such a little thing.

ha ha -- that little thing is simply single crochet on a long tail with beads on each end!  I used the link that was on your wist picture for a free pattern and then just winged it with a different size needles and whatever thread I had...seriously, they make great gifts because they look pretty detailed and "fancy shmancy" but they are quick and easy!

Tha hardest part was the tassle  Wink

I should thank YOU for the link--I have made lots of them for little stocking stuffers for all my friends!!

I remember the first tassels my wife knitted.  She kept saying, "eyes up here, frodo."

i have no idea why it has taken me so long to post this!
i received from lylyfai so long ago. she made me a toaster
cozy based on one in my wists. it's my new favorite thing ever!!
i really am obsessed with it! i love it so much more than the
one that i had wisted. she made it in my favorite colors--green
and blue! it is so well made and exactly what i wanted! i could
go on and on...but i won't.

here it is!

really--it couldn't have been any more perfect!
thank you so much!

Wow!  I'm amazed at all the great stuff people have been receiving for their birthdays!  Everything has been so thoughtful.

riario, the headband you received is super cute.  Nice work, kelsorama!

alwaysinmyroom - I totally <3 the stuff you made for onthinice.  I am loving the black, white & red series.  I can't wait to see pictures of what you made for kairichan and silverwing.  Both have received.  I also wanted to "introduce" my hubby to you.  He's the one who posted the "eyes up here, frodo".  He cracks me up!  He sometimes feels a bit left out when I'm doing my craftster thing.

I also would like to see a picture of the altar cloth Lylyfai made for bhean.  I know bhean is super busy with a new little November babe of her own, but if you have a picture, Lylyfai, please post it when you get a chance.

Lastly, I would like to apologize for not being really around lately.  I've been ill, but I'm all better now.   Smiley

Oh wow wow!!  What a cute toaster cover!! Sure beats the plain quilted ones you get in the stores!! (ick!)  I love the colors!!

ha ha jesintexas--glad I didn't flirt with your hubby--I do like people with a warped sense of humor!! ha ha  Hey, if your so's can't beat Craftster, they should join in the fun!

Oh, I think I told kairichan that I would post a pic of the purse I made her--ha ha--she is making a purse out of the other fabric I sent to her (now that is a little cheating, but at least she will get two purses and will get to craft some more! ha ha)

edited:  I found the pics of the purse I made!  The fabric I sent her was similar only with a pink background.

Inside of purse with Hello Kitty goodie peeking out!

Thanks jesintexas--I love making colorful wallets...
