Here it is:

Bonnie and Clyde, in their famous photo (although obviously, t'was a gun and not a cake!) to go with his gangster themed presents!
The inside there's felt lettering saying "Happi Buffdee, Clyde, Love Bonnie!"

Just thought I'd share! ^_^

Sadly I haven't had a chance to make them yet, so this is going along as a kinda taster of what's to come in a couple of weeks... I'm making him a 'Yakuza' kimono (ahem... a cotton kimono for lounging in!) some biscuits in a felt bag marked 'loot', a CD of speak-easy/ jazz/ gangster themed music (With a few Earl Scruggs tracks thrown in for good measure!),

and I'm hopefully buying him a matchbox model Austin 7 car (His dream get away car!) and a water pistol or something similar....

however, if anybod has any other ideas to add, feel free to share! ^_^ I already mentioned this in the ...in a box thread in the prezzos forum! Wink

Luckily our birthdays are just a few weeks apart, and he lives about 100 miles away
(;_;) so we're having a birthday weekend at the beginning of decemeber and both swapping presents then! ^_^

That is so cool - very well done with the card!  A few small handmade gifts are so much better than the big expensive pressies so many people give these days - they are so much more personal and really show effort.

Aw! Thanks you two! ^_^ I love handmaking presents and picking silly little things- it always seems more sucessful that way too- last year I bought him a theremin kit, and although he really appreciated it, he just hasn't had time to put it together yet... just feels a bit like I didn't get him anything because he's not had any use out of it yet! Sad We'll just have to put it together on a rainy day though! ^_^
