So, as my fiance` puts it, I'm going through my "sleepytime" phase, sort of like Picasso went through his blue phase. HAHA!

Anyway, it was time to pop my Crafster cherry and finally contribute to the forums that I've been stalking watching for years now. What better way to pop the cherry than to post in the Sublime Stitching forum???

Here is my first pillowcase (not my first Sublime Stitching project, just my first pillowcase)

And a close up of the compact...

(I don't know why there's a dog hair on it either. Weird)

Here's my work in progress...

Close up...

Thanks for looking and a huge thanks to Jenny for her awesome designs. I'm proud to say that I blogged about her last week and three of my readers went and bought patterns!!!

Awww! Thanks everyone!

The font I used was from MS Paint (of all places. LOL), I'll look up the name of it later tonight.

I printed them out, cut out the words, threw them under the pillowcase, and then traced. Easy Peasy!

I love this! After looking at all of the "Sublime Stitching" things that people have done, I was thinking about making a bed set (probably sheets and pillowcases to start). And, I've been toying with the idea of buying the book, but I've resisted the pull.

...might...have...t o...buy...it...!

Thanks for posting a pic so I could be inspired!
