Hi this is my first time posting a completed project. I got the pattern from this book
http://a1204.g.akamai.net/7/1204/1401/04100608011/images.barnesandnoble.com/images/8360000/8368410.jpg

I am making sets of these for Christmas presents. Instead of attaching the trim to the towel with a blanket stich I sewed it directly to the towel. and i used a split stich for the stem instead of a stem stich (i can't seem to get the hold of that stem stich!)
My grandma taught me to crochet, I have made many things but much to my surpise this is the only project that I have completed that I actually like! Let me know what you think. Also let me know if I've done anything wrong!

Those are so pretty. How long does it take you to do one?

Thanks!
It took just over 2 hours and that was with stopping to look at the pattern and attaching everything. The pattern is very easy to follow. Oh and the best part is that it was so cheap! The towels were about $1.58 for a set of 2 at Target and the yarn was about $9.00 for the 3 colors. There is no telling how many towels I can make with all that yarn. I just hope my friends and relatives don't visit each other other wise they will see that they all got the same thing!

Thanks for the nice words on my towels. I learned to crochet from my Grandmother who is AMAZING at anything she crochets... well at anything she touches really(she's so crafty) Anyway I am very insecure about what I make because I could never measure up to her. So your compliments really mean alot to me I have so much respect for all the great craft people on this board. Thanks Y'all!
