Okay.  I will remove this post up - but had to post up the pic with the Ruth's Chris evidence....
oh and we got the asparagus with hollandaise and the au gratin potatoes and my husband got the shrimp appetizer (I don't eat things that swim unless they come in a box and says Gordon's on it - long story and yes, I have tried them since growing up and still just can't do it..) Oh and both of us got the strip steak - which came terribly undercooked but you know the plates come otu at 500 degrees so I just sliced what I thought I would want and let it continue to cook and that seemed to suffice but it was really really undercooked... they have only been open for about 2 weeks.  The floor manager was really nice and we talked to him a bit - he said that the next time we come we should come early and he will give us the tour of the kitchen.  He was really cool...

He ate EVERYTHING that was given to him - oh and I forgot, we got this tall frozen mousse for free since it was David's birthday celebration!  They don't sing there - just bring out the goods with a candle lit.  I told David I didn't think they would trash it up with some offkey ridiculous singing..

Okay. no further ado - silly shot of me holding the bag - okay.  I am wearing the chain smoking necklace that atsuko made me - which is really stunning by the way and the picture doesn't do it justice in any way shape or form..

MIss Mermaid/Dulcinea I will remove after you guys get your giggle..
No need to clutter up the forumn with my goofiness but a promise/threat is a promise/threat!

God I wish I didn't put on those sweats before taking that picture - the combo of the pose and the pants made my boobs disappear and my butt expand... but it is pretty funny.   The picture of me "kissing"  made me look like I was eating something sour.  My husband is not the best photographer around...

edited - removed silly picture of me holding the bag... If anyone misses it terribly I will put it back up  - but I figured it really wasn't this swap related so it needed to go - and gawd those sweats made me look even worse than I do normally.  Sweats and a slightly largerer caboose do not make for good action shots!  I feel like Seinfeld and the belt sander - just jiggling around, not naked, just jiggling..

See, now if you had invited ME, I could have taken care of that undercooked steak for you..... one portion, I would have sent back to be cooked to your specifications, and the other would have been my dinner.  Some of us happen to LIKE undercooked beef (also known as very rare, please)

It sounds like you had a great time for David's birthday - and isn't that what birthdays are all about?

Thanks so much for sharing!

I received SUCH a killer package from Sweet_love today!

She made two thick headbands that tie at the bottom for my ever growing and unruly hair and a beautiful roll-up to hold sewing notions and supplies.  So much work obviously went into it.  I am a very proud roll-up owner!

Everything together...

The inside of the roll-up...

There are pockets galore, a long pin cushion in the middle, a detachable wrist pin cushion, a mini roll-up within the roll-up and a zippered pocket.  The whole thing rolls into a lovely and portable package that ties with sweet iridescent ribbon.

THANK YOU SWEETZ_LOVE!!!
