I saw this gallery and thought "Bird swap? That's kinda weird. We'll I'll just check it out to see what it's about." Then I looked at every page. I can't believe how beautiful everything is! I may have wisted a few things...  Roll Eyes
Great job everyone!

I am totally in LOVE with my  owl bag. I have gotten about 900 compliments on it (because I use it as a diaper bag so it has to go everywhere I go with da kids) and when I tell people it's hand made they just freak out! so THANK YOU JUNGRRL!!!! I don't have any action shots of it yet, but the embroidery and the detail work inside are stellar! Oh, and the little felt owl is currently holding my pins. Wink
Here are some pics of the things I sent to moazogotl:
shirt with stencilled heron:

purse mirror with embellished back showing a swallow flying home (I didn't get a pic of the case I made):

and bracelet featuring some of her favorite birds and the word "FLY":

Thanks again to everyone! I had fun making and receiving! I heart Crafters and their birdy goodness! Smiley

Faux. I keep hoping I'll find a big stash of old, cool typewriters (heck, I'd settle for one at Goodwill). But they're art paper from a company whose name escapes me at the moment, they just happned to fit perfectly in the circles. Smiley

Those are still uber cool.  I saw those over at Michael's the other day in their scrapbooking department.  I almost picked some up, but I didn't have a use for them at the moment.  Right now I'm trying to focus on making Christmas presents and my two ATC swaps I'm in the middle of.  But after the holidays...ahhhhhh selfish crafting, all for me  Tongue  Wink

Thanks  Grin One of my firs stencil jobs. I made the stencil, just did a GIS for heron until I found one I liked, outlined it in paint shop pro, then printed it out and placed it over acetate and ut away everthing shaped like a bird...it worked rather well, i think.

Thanks for posting photos of the gorgeous stuff you sent me, lemon floor wax!  I love all of it so much.  I just wanted to put up another photo of the mirror, which is just amazingly pretty:

I have no idea how you managed to get the swallow so lifelike!  Smiley

The post office keeps trying to deliver my swap package from lisiepeasie but I'm never home to receive it.  Then I went to the post office to pick it up but the carrier still had it.  I think the mail carrier knew it was so great so they are holding it hostage.   Hopefully I will get it tonight and I'll be able to post pictures tomorrow.
