I made this dress out of a table cloth from the second hand shop. It was going to be a skirt but it was way too long so I made the waistband wider and added straps and turned it into a dress.

Here is a picture of the tablecloth



To make the dress I cut a circle in the middle and I cut up a black t-shirt as the top of it and the straps. I put iron on interfacing in the straps and I put a strip of elastic in the back too. Smiley

I wish I had this much talent when I was thirteen. Hell, I don't think I would see that table cloth and have such a good idea now. It's so pretty!
