The boyfriend decided to be Frank the bunny from Donnie Darko this year... at about 9:00pm of the 27th. We had to have the costume done by, well, the evening of the 28th for a club we work for... And somehow the costume actually managed to be finished in time! Amazing!

This is the only in-progress shot we have: the mask was constructed of a plain ol' domino mask from party city, duct tape, aluminum foil, and some paint.

Then the outfit... We hunted and searched all over the city for grey fake fur but couldn't find any within budget or enough of it in one place, so fleece was used instead, and probably for the best, since he was burning up in it already (and really, probably a lot more comfortable to wear then the fur might have been)

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a better, full-body shot of the outfit... Stay tuned!

Oh, that's awesome!!!  My boyfriend wanted to go as Frank too, but we didn't have enough time to get it together.  Now he DEFINITELY wants to go as Frank next year.  I'll be bookmarking this to refer to!  Thanks!  You did a great job!   Smiley

lol Frank the Bunny ... that's awesome.

You know why fleece is so hot?  Because it's made out of recycled plastic soda bottles.  Plastic = HOT!  lol

Great job on the costume!

Angry Yes, yes it is... We were at Joann's and found the PERFECT color and pile of fake fur there, and actually in our budget, but sadly there was only a yard or two of it. Boooo... I guess that's what happens though when you wait until the Saturday before halloween to make your costume though  Cheesy
