actually i have a Co-op thing tonight, so I can't go either!  I will have to call her and let her know.  I can't go on Friday (boys night out=mom's night in), but how does Saturday sound?

Sadly, Saturday does not work for me. Jared is coming and we just found out his grandmother passed away today (she was in really bad shape) so we'll be in Altoona Saturday.

Next Thursday, then. My gusset is coming along!  Smiley

It's 18 minutes into Thursday! That means knitting in grocery stores time is nearly upon us!

My socks are done (woot) but I will be a bit late (15-30 min) because I'll be running subjects late and will want to unpack my stuff before arriving. Hope to see some other people with pointy sticks there... and I don't mean chopsticks!  Wink

Yay!  I just wanted to say it was great to have new faces at last weeks session.  I'm still mad that I forgot my flyer  Angry  .  My eyes were wonky until the next morning (fyi: they were dilated but for some reason it lasted forever).  I'm glad i had the pomatomous repeat memorized, otherwise i would have just sat there drinking coffee and feeling like an outsider!

Hope to have some more new faces next week!

If my knitty-senses (and my calendar) are correct, tomorrow is Thursday which means KNITTING!  Cheesy

I'm a lame-o who has yet to start my monkey socks, but maybe tonight I will. Hope to see you all tomorrow for coffee and yarn talk. Because other people don't really want to talk about yarn.  Wink

Yay!  Me too me too!  And what's with that, not wanting to talk about yarn.

I'm a lamo too.  I still need to k-stitch the toe of my pomatomus socks.  I don't know why its still sitting there.  I might finish tonight, but that means I'll be "between projects".  Seems like there might be some public spinning in my future!

Grrr! I am so annoyed!

I checked my email Friday only to discover that, after explicitly asking several times not to be scheduled for Thursday evenings one of my labs scheduled me for... Thursday evening!  Angry

Even after an email about this I really didn't get much of an explanation. Grrr. So, I probably won't be there Thursday.... unless anyone wants to stick around after 9:30 or 10:00, which is when I think I could get there if nothing goes wrong. Grrr. Can you tell I'd like to write her a nastier email but instead had to grit my teeth writing a nicer email knowing it may not convey to her that I really must not be scheduled for Thursday evenings? Grrr.

And I really wanted to see Beth's new eyes! Well... improved, but not actually new.  Cheesy

Oh well. Happy knitting!

Oh man, I have the best news ever (well, the best news today)!!!

My subject was flakey and they had to cancel him for Thursday night! Woo-hoo! I mean, we need to get the work done and all, but now I get to knit Thursday night!  Cheesy

On the other hand, I realized I dropped stitches a while back and need to rip out the heel a bit. At least the heel flap is short and easy.

Hope to see you knitters Thursday!  Smiley

Hey all!

There is a guild meeting tonight, and I'm feeling a little obligated to go, since Cynthia keeps giving me the guild discount even though i'm not technically a member.  Time to pay some dues I guess!

I will try to find out if anybody from Ravelry is going to meet at wegmans' tonight .  Ann might go, i think, but I haven't talked to her in a while...

Here is the info:
http://www.centreknittersguild.com/

and its not at perkins anymore, but the medical center:

The meetings are at a new place with a roomier conference room, the Mt. Nittany Medical Center!

They will be held at the following times:

October 4th from 7 to 9PM

Conference Rooms 2 & 3, Ground Floor

November 1st from 7 to 9PM Conference Rooms 2 & 3, Ground Floor

December 6 from 7 to 9PM Conference Room 2, Ground Floor

In other news, I finally stitched up my pomatomus socks, and do i ever love em!  I'm still putting off the knitted sushi, and since the Secret of the Stole clue comes out tommorow, they might just get put off a little longer (notice i didn't mention that other shawl).

heh, and i finally knitted a sock for my little guy from my homespun, i can't wait to show you!  it is turning out very well!
