Hey all!

My wheel has been getting a workout from Tour de Fleece, but I might actually have to do some real knitting to use up some of my stash!  I'm so far behind!  Its a toss-up, though, since I can't take my wheel to Germany with me  Cry  .

Either way, shall we meet?  I'm game!

Well, I vote spinning, unless you think you won't have much knitting time in Germany... Do Grandma and Grandpa in Germany like to babysit?  Wink

I'm up for tonight! Heading to the beach this weekend (knitting in hand) so I'm hoping to get a good bit of the gusset done on these socks before then! I haven't done much lately because I lost the 5th DPN to my set (boo) and Micheal's and JoAnn's don't seem to believe that people knit socks (what with their lack of proper needles and yarn, more booing) so I just got more needles yesterday from Stitch Your Art Out (hooray!)

Guess what else I got!

...YARN! And cable needles! I'm taking the plunge!  Cheesy

See you tonight!

P.S. I realize now I should no longer make fun of Mark Trail because I type like he speaks regularly!  Cheesy

Hey there, Ho there, fellow SC-area knitters!

So... Thursday is nearly upon us. Beth will be away, but I am going to be here, so if anyone wants to get together for some good old stitch 'n bitch let me know! I may or may not hang out at Wegman's at 7:30 if no one responds; we'll see what happens. So, if you're in the mood to knit with another person who is also knitting, definitely let me know  Cheesy

It'll be the same deal the following week (8/2), so I'll be checking often to see if there are any takers. If you want to knit but not at Wegman's, I'm pretty flexible so suggest away.

The following Thursday (8/9), however, I believe neither Beth nor I will be in town, so you'll have to fend for yourselves.

Oh! And I learned to CABLE!! Beth was right, so easy! Not to mention... WHY didn't I try it before?!?  Cheesy

I can't believe you tackled socks (and so well!), but were afraid of cables.  Congrats on the new technique to add to your repertoire!

I'd love to join you this Thursday (8/2) if you're still up for it.
Wegmans sounds good to me, but I'm flexible too if someone wants to go elsewhere.

I know, Beth told me they would be super easy and they are. I still can't believe how easy! And thanks!

I'm down if you are for some knitting excitement! My socks are getting really close... very exciting. It's like exciting excitement... Oh my, it's late.  Cheesy

See you then!

Thursday is nearly here, which begs the question:

Anyone else have time for some knitting in a grocery store?

I started some new socks in bamboo.... I'll let you feel the soft yarn and look at my cool Favorite Socks book if you come. Yes, I am very good at bribing people, how did you know?  Wink

The gusset or sock #2 is upon me! Hope it goes as fast as the first!  Cheesy

Unfortunately, it is the last day of the Grange Fair and I think I ought to go to say goodbye to some of the family who came in for it (and to eat a funnel cake, perhaps)! I know you friend is thinking of coming, but if you're interested and have the time, I would be interested in an unorthodox knitting Friday. Let me know and happy Thursday!
