yours look fabulous!!!
I bought this pattern and loved it!!!
I now have to make a pair for everyone who has seen them - I even had to buy the kids pattern because my daughter wants a pair too!! So they must be great if she wants a pair!
I am going to add an extra layer into the soles the next ones i do so they are a little more padded.
You can also use the tool handle dip to put rubberized bottoms on so they can be worn outside.

I'm almost done making my first pair of these - one more sole to go!  The pattern is great -- it walks you through everything.  You definitely need it to be very quiet to concentrate on the first one.  I can't wait to see it felted down.

Yours look great!

i have made 1 of these, lol, but not felted it yet, i am worried that it is too big...i am making them for my husband so it is the mans large ones, they are monstrous, like 2 times as long and as wide as his foot, i am using pure wool, hand sheared and spun from a farm nearby.

how big was yours before you felted it?

Just so you aren't disturbed.

Honey, I'm always disturbed--whether the phone rings or not!

chloe_hippy: felting should shrink it quite a bit.  and you can just keep felting until you get the size you want (to a certain extent...).

fibertrends has so many awesome patterns!  i love the animal ones.  must go to lys and look for patterns!

The were absolutly huge.  You honestly will be very surprised how well they shrink down, as they are felting.   You are on the right track, don't worry.  and please please post pictures, i would LOVE to see them!

Inna - thanks for mentioning the tool handle dip! I was looking for something to use on my slipper bottoms and this is it (called PlastiDip and can be found at Home Depot, Lowes, etc if anyone else wants to know).
