Not sure where this belongs.

I made these for a craft fair 2 years ago:



They were a big seller and a nice gift for teachers. You can make them with any fabric, these happen to be standard quilting type patterns. I found mini sewing kits for $1.00 each to fill them with.

I somehow picked up that it is bad mojo to give scissors as a gift-- as anyone else heard this? Cause I would love to get a sewing kit for my sister, but I am occasionally superstitious.

Yikes! I never heard of that. I hope it's not true because I gave quite a few of these away. I'm pretty sure my Grandmother knew every superstition, but she never mentioned that one.
