I'm always up for a bad pun,  how 'bout you?
This was completed within the span of 2 days (on the first day the pattern pieces and fabric were cut out, the second day it was sewn). This is my favorite Halloween costume to date! Oh, and I apologize in advance for the hugeness of my photos.

Here it is in its entirety.

A close-up of the bodice (gotta love that trim!)

I actually bought white tulle to put underneath but the skirt ended up being particulary full on its own.

Yes indeed, the apron is totally seperate from the dress.

Pardon the greasiness of my face, it's been a long day.

Hope you guys like it!

Ohh! And this is the first costume that has actually turned out damn near identically to what I'd pictured in my head, I drew it out a week or two beforehand:

That costume is really great, reminded me of the Oktoberfest Barbie. Tongue and you're cute too.

Absolutely lovely!
But you need white knee lenght socks, usually wore in Germany with that costume.
Long white socks for a cute Lolita style.

I went out looking for them and nobody had them! The closest I could find was off-white.  Tongue

*g* Cute costume! And I admire how you did that in just a day.

I´m just imagining all people walking round Munich dressed up in such clothes. Just for a day. It´d be so much fun to watch Wink

I´m not an expert for traditional clothing but I don´t think knee-length is compulsory. Ankle length socks will probably do fine.
