Ok, so, here's the deal, I love Halloween, but I always for some reason suck at making a costume.  I want to have such an amazing costume that I can never decide what I want to be, and I just end up being something lame.

What are some good FEMALE CHARACTERS to be for Halloween?  Some really recognisable characters?

Thanks!

Hmmm.. how about:

-Samara Morgan
-Cat Woman
-Wonder Woman
-Sally (from Nightmare before christmas)
-Wednesday (Adam's Family)
-Medusa
-Lara Croft

Ok, I stink with these ideas, but I hope these help.  Wink

You can also stick with Disney/Fairy Tale characters but make them your own.

I'm doing Little Red Riding Hood but more in a goth light.

Last year I was Alice but American McGee's version, think more psychotic than innocent.

I usually suck at this stuff too but eventually something will come to me.  Good luck.  Hope this helps you.

80's cartoon characters are popular, especially since big manufacturers started making the skankier versions.

some tv shows that could be fun to pull female characters from:
-Fraggle Rock
-Captain Planet
-Popples

I'm going as a DomiKNITrix!  XD  I'm knitting a little black dress, and I'm gonna wear fishnets, my UBERBOOTS and a pair of cheapo "leather" gloves. Cheesy

You could also be a girly version of a boy character!

I'm going to be Super Mandio, Mario's sister, for halloween.  Cheesy I got overalls and a red shirt, but I plan to roll up the pant legs and wear red and white striped socks and high-heeled boots, and wear my hair in braids under the Mario hat. I'm also going to wear a mustache.  Grin

I once put on all my prettiest lingerie (tap pants and a camisole can make it respectable) with fishnet hose and all the rhinestone jewelry I could borrow from my friends. Added some red lipstick and heavy eye makeup and put a 25 cent price tag on my necklace--went as a two bit whore!

If you are looking for noticable characters may I suggest:

++Princess Leigha from Star Wars
++Hermione Granger from Harry Potter
++Elizabeth Swan from Pirates of the Caribean
++A Ninja
++Magenta from Rocky Horror Picture Show
++Columbia from Rocky Horror Picture Show
++Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas
++Any of the Disney Princesses
++Ursula from the Little Mermaid
++Tinkerbell
++Anne of Green Gables
++Little Orphan Annie
++Red Riding Hood
++A Mime
++A Transformer
++Cowgirl
++Astronaut
++Nurse
++French Maid
++Bunny, Mouse (Any animal costume featured on Mean Girls)
++Sailor Moon

Well, I hope the last 10 minutes of me thinking of costumes has helped.
