ooh I didn't know that there was an official contest!

here's my thread in the Halloween forum with directions

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=130480.0

edit to add Andy is 10 and decided on the costume idea - we brainstormed together and tried out a few ideas

every year I make the costumes for both sons - Andy just wants to be more scary every year

That is so clever!
Reminds me of when I was little.  My friend and I were a 2 headed monster.  She was much shorter than me, so I stuck my head out of the top of a big jacket and she stuck her head out of the middle.
I bet Andy got lots of compliments.

Andy rocks!!! He must be 1) very creative (like his mom)  Wink and 2), very lucky to have a mom who could and would help him do this, so mom rocks too!! Great Job!

My craft supply philosophy I stole from a line from AVP. ''I'd rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.'' But, they were talking about a condom. Tongue

That is pretty sweet.  That's awesome that you make the costumes.  My ma made me a kitty costume one year and I wore it for the rest of the year.  Actually I still have it.  I let my niece borrow it, but I'm saving it for my own kids.

The tarp has sprung a leak
And the animals i've trapped
Have all become my pets
And i'm living off of grass
And the drippings from the ceiling

Obviously this is a little late, but this is AMAZING! When I was younger I always wanted to be a headless... something. Unfortunately I didn't have creative parents to help me come up with this! Too cool.
