Do I dare disturb the universe?

Hello everyone! Great costumes, this challenge is so much fun.  Here's my contribution:

It doubled as my Renaissance Fair costume...

The wings are handmade, though not by me:

The top is two shirts sewn together and embellished with embroidery thread (all my sewing was by hand b/c my machine is broken)
It's a corset top with a sheer flowery shirt over it:

And so.  The skirt and belt are mine, but I made the other pouch to hang on the belt out of extra shirt fabric.
I made my little shrug by chopping off the sleeves and neck of the top and embellishing it again with embroidery thread - it looks like it has sort of primitive stitches, that sort of thing.  I painted my pointy ears to match my real ears and got many compliments. Smiley

My craft supply philosophy I stole from a line from AVP. ''I'd rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.'' But, they were talking about a condom. Tongue

Thank you thank you!  I felt really great in it, and even got a few comments at the faire...something about being eaten my trolls.

My wings were made by : Animal X.  I bought them several years ago, before I became crafty and realized that these things were a bit pricey.  They make some of the most beautiful wings out there, though.
