I claim hokiekate for a set of notecards! I'm making tons at the moment, and p.s. I don't like cats either! *ducks to avoid the missiles of all cat lovers on this thread!*

I'm in Germany.
This is first claim this round.

I'm changing this list tons! I had to leave my entire stash in the USA and there is no crafty shopping in my tiny town. Please help me build up a new stash to make holiday gifts!

For the stash:

- Lots of colorful roving to make felted items  please!
- Sparkly Beads (seed, bugle, etc.) and sequins
- Jewelry findings (like earring hooks, clasps, straight pins, preferably in silver-not gold)
- Buttons! Tiny ones for card making, larger fun/vintage ones for cuffs
- Cardstock, envelopes, stickers, embellishments etc. for card making
- Clear microbeads and O' So Sticky Tape for cards http://www.pennywisearts.com/tape.html
- a grab bag of any of the above would be very cool!

Kits:

- A microscope slide pendant kit to make necklaces for my sisters
- A soft plushy or sock animal kit. I want to make a baby-friendly toy for my nephew, maybe a stripey sock animal, or a cute/unusual plushy like seen here:
http://www.jesshutch.com/
http://www.fluffels.com/ - love otto and eggy!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=5843.0
I have no sewing machine, so something that could be handsewn please! If you are a fan of making these toys yourself, feel free to do that also!

And because I am not totally selfless:

-I love all things PaPaYa, one of their journals or cards would be awesome, but a handmade journal/card set inspired by them would be awesome also!
http://shop.hannahgrey.com/index.php?cPath=290
- Arm warmers or fingerless gloves in a neutral color (black, tan, white maybe?) I love cabled looks. I also love granny square fingerless gloves!
- A capelet like this fabulous one made by domUnique  Wink hint hint!:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111881.350
-embellished hoodies are awesome also! PM me for size and ideas

-Or feel free to surprise me. My wists and swap info links are in my sig.

About me:
I'm another American girl adventuring abroad, this time in southern Germany.

Thank you in advance to whomever chooses me!

I claim la_chrystelle for:

pink, white and purple quilting pieces

This is my 2nd claim (1 has been sent)

I'm in Alberta, Canada and this is my list in no particular order:

Tea towels with snowmen, snowflakes, sunflowers or chili peppers on them.

Handmade Christmas tree ornaments (no glass and nothing with santa, please)

A tablecloth (50" x 70") with snowmen, snowflake or leaf material.

Ladies size XL, long sleeve t-shirt (any color but white) with a snowman stencilled on the front.

A pair of knit gloves made with stripes of red, green and yellow
(I have a pair right now that is almost too small and I could send you a picture so you see what I mean)

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

A cross stitch picture with tulips or sunflowers on it (medium sized)

Beads (no plastic, please) and anything else related to jewelry making (findings, etc.)

I claim Homerof2 for "Ladies size XL, long sleeve t-shirt (any color but white) with a snowman stencilled on the front." I love stencilling t-shirts.  Grin

I am 30 years old (or rather will be TODAY, wish me a happy birthday  Grin). I work as a teacher. I teach philosophy, psychology and ethics to teenager. Really an interesting job. I live in Uppsala, Sweden with my boyfriend and four teletubbies (substitutes for children so far  Cheesy).

My wish list

Craft supplies:

Soldering/Microscope slide pendant kit (never tried before)

Resin kit (never tried before)

Material for printing (water-proof) on fabric (bubble jet set?)

Bookbinding kit (never tried before)

Nice quality (just normal quality really) thread for sewing machines, fancy like rainbow or metallic, or just ordinary thread of different colours. Please no cotton. The problem is that I mostly have cotton threads, and Im a bit hesitant to sew with those since they may shrink when washed, right? I still need thread.

Fabric pieces with funny patterns, preferably people/creatures/things you can cut out clean (not so messy patterns). Does that make any sense? No need for more right now. Thank you rosali!

Some sort of kit to make your own stickers

Glass marbles, especially of this shape:
http://www.wholesalersusainc.com/glass-squares-clear-3x3x1cm-p-702.html
The squares, rectangles and circles with holes in them on the same site are also interesting, and coloured square marbles also... Just different shaped glass thingies to put pictures behind really... and coloured ones for rings:
http://www.plainmabel.com/ckshop.php?item=1168&ret=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plainmabel.com%2Fckshop.php%3Fpage%3D1%26category%3D4

Crafted things:

A wallet with LOTS of credit card pockets and room for all the receipts and stuff I tend to gather. I wouldnt like too colourful/crazy fabrics, at least not pastel or neon colours.

Four pets for my teletubbies. The teletubbies are about 6 tall (excluding the antenna) and they would like soft pets that dont break if they happen to sit on them (they have to be durable and tolerant) and that dont run away (so they have to be very loyal or on a leash). They used to have their own paper/origami cats, but they either sat on them or lost them (well, I guess they ran away really). The tubbies themselves have some sort of bean filling in their behinds, so maybe that kind of filling would be nice for the pets as well. Thank you Chloeiscrazy!

Large calendar with squares for each day where you have room to write something. Themes could be geometrical shapes/modern art, the teletubbies, crafting, black and white... or look to my wists for ideas.

Simple knitted cardigan (fitted, is that the word?) preferably in black or greyscale colours.

A hoodie with a skinny puppy (www.skinnypuppy.com) theme for my boyfriend. He would love you (and me  Cheesy) for this. It would be a present for his thirtieth birthday.

And of course anything from my wist.

General note: No batik please.

I, Scotskipper, claim Gavagi for thread.

Happy Birthday! I hope you get more than thread  Grin BTW, cotton thread should be just fine in the wash, but I'm going to send you a bunch of good old American poly/cotton in different colors.

I'm in Arlington, Virginia, right outside Washington, DC, USA.

Some of my wishes

Asian tote bag
hand knit socks (womans size 9)
Big beads
Stitch markers
vintage metal or jeweled buttons
Jane Austen
Coco Chanel
Claire McCardell
Postage stamps
Sailing (I really can skipper a Flying Scot daysailer)
Wool/silk/linen/bamboo/cotton/etc. yarn
Lavender, vanilla, peppermint
batik/ikat/exotic fabric
frogs, lizards, buffalo
ginger candy
2007 calendar from outside the USA

Like: Asian, African, Indian, exotic-y materials. Paris and Pittsburgh. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Serenity. (I'd have Joss Weadon's baby, but Im too old.) Colors: rust, brown, navy, teal, orange, yellow and red. I have red hair, green eyes, and an attitude.

Dislike: prissy girly-girl, aggressive cuteness, and ye olde rustic stuff. Goth, black, royal blue, and pastels are not my friends.  I despise Disney, except for Jiminy Cricket.

I collect yarn, fabric, and dust. I'm a hard-core crafty-type. I want to send my stash stuff to good homes -- and if I get some cool stuff in return, that's groovy but NBD.
