'tis the season. This is from a pattern book called "Pop Up Paws" published by Skacel Collections Inc. The idea of mitten/gloves is all around, but this is a particularly well written pattern. Fitted for several sizes, well written, even a little nice short row shaping. I borrowed it from a friend and then couldn't find one for myself for the LONGEST time. Finally thanks to the joy of the internet the Paws are mine! Knit in Berroco Furz using size 7 needles.

I am SO glad to see these finished!  I just got this pattern not long ago, and I haven't decided on a yarn yet.  Out of curiosity, how much yardage did it take?  I have some Rowan Yorkshire Tweed (in all kinds of different weights) but only have about 2 balls of each color.  It'd be cool  if I could use that!

Are these made with DPNs or single point needles? For some reason I thought your comment meant the latter and my heart nearly leaped, until I thought about it for a second!

Hey there, thanks for you kind comments!

This is not a yarn-hungry project. Mind you, I knit the Medium size of the paws, but I still had a lot of yarn left over from my two balls of Furz which had 90 yards in each ball.

I knit them on DPN's and this is very much a pattern in the round. For me that's a major plus because I hate seaming.

I had nothing but pleasant experiences shopping with them, though as you'll read it is not garunteed that they still have them in stock.

However, like I said, Mitten/Glove patterns are all around and there are a number of them free on the internet. Here's a quick list, and perhaps people will find and post the one's I overlook.
