okay, so my boyfriend came up with the idea of us being el chavo and la chilindrina from the mexican sitcom...i think its called el chavo del ocho...the problem is, very very few people got it at the parties we went to!!  oh well. we're still rad.
they were both made the night before.

the real thing:

my mom made my dress BY HAND THE NIGHT BEFORE cause we do not have a sewing machine, and she made up the pattern herself from one of my old dresses. i love my mom.

oh, and i didnt know how to make bloomers, so i stole my boyfriends boxers briefs and sewed some ribbon material stuff on the ends to make them LOOK like bloomers. lol.

my boyfriend bought the shirt at wal-mart, tore up some old khakis and added "ear muffs" to a hat he already owned by creating his own. i cant believe he sews! ahhh. the "suspenders" are really red ribbon.

OMG! I love this! I used to watch this  show all the time with my dad! I know it's kind of early for halloween but I want to make everyone's costume this year, there are 4 of us, and I was on here browsing for ideas. I will keep this in mind! El chapulin colorado would be a great one too!
