here is a super simple project to recycle glass jars...

1.  collect and wash glass jars (ok, cut the bs...)
2.  wrap a length of wide lace trim around the belly of the jar
3.  use double-sided tape to stick down the slightly overlap area of the trim at the back of the jar
4.  use a needle to thread a piece of colored yarn through the top of the trim and finish off by tieing a bow

wah-la!!  finish!!  isn't that a piece of cake!?!?   Grin
now put in your freshly cut flowers or leaves and enjoy!!   Cheesy

your vases are very pretty, but i must confess the main reason i commented was to ask, is that kudzu in the background?

Those are lovely vases and photography, but OMG, the background outside?  Where ARE you?  It looks like you are living on the island on LOST!!!

I've been using glass vases for awhile but I never thought to put such cute lace decorations on them.

A-FREAKING-MAZING view by the way.  Where are you?

I must ask, along with everybody else: WHERE IN THE HECK ARE YOU?  THAT IS THE NEATEST VIEW EVER!  *breathes deeply* okay, okay...

I suspect she's in Hong Kong. The lace is a delicious addition - pretty pretty! But holy cow, I'm with everyone else who is just stunned at the incredible view out your window...
