Hello all! I just finished knitting these two super cute 'n easy hats and wanted to share them. I got the pattern from http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/patterns.htm. It's number 20 on the left, called The Inside Out Knit Chemo Cap. It's knit with straight needles, instead of circulars. Here are the pics:

The top one is the original. The second one is modified slightly so the top is less pointy and keeps with the pattern instead of changing to stockinette. It's also a deep purple, not blue. Sorry about the bad lighting (and thighs Cheesy lol). I didn't feel comfortable putting a pic of myself on the internet for all to see.

Melanie.

Shocked Wow you did one heck of a job.  I hope I'm as successful as you with the hat I'm making.  They're beautiful!

Haha, they're photographed in such a similar position that at first I was like "She didn't knit two hats; she just photoshopped one a different color". But no, you knit two. And they're both gorgeous; I may have to try out that pattern  Grin

Thank you both so much. The pattern is very simple to follow. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for replying.

They are fab!  I've just had a quick lesson on how to knit a hat on four needles from my mum while down visiting her but I'm still plucking up the courage to actually go out and buy some wool to make one.  If mine turn out anywhere near as gorgeous as yours I'll be made up.

Actually, this pattern calls for regular straight needles. That's what I love about it. You should really try it out. It's a really fast knit, too. It only took me a few days of off-and-on knitting. Good luck!

Great thanks for the tip Wink  Now all I have to do is learn how to do more than cast on and off and what all those abreviations mean and how to do them and I'm away Cheesy
