Not perfect, but perfect in my eyes.
What do you do when you're sick in bed on Saturday night....teach yourself to crochet.  By Sunday....my first finished crochet capelet

That is pretty especially for your first finished project. I never would've been able to make that for my first project. My first project was a bag that I single crocheted and then sewed the sides together. The caplet is awesome.

Wow, you really don't give yourself enough credit, that's a really cute capelet, and the pattern stitch is amazing, especially for a beginner (let alone first time!) Keep it up and you'll be cranking out more beauties in no time!

give yourself credit for a job well done! the capelet is lovely, especially considering it was your first crochet project. MY first attempt at crochet was a not very square square   Huh and I still haven't progressed.... I get it mixed up with knitting and end up with loads of stitches on my hook  Embarrassed Grin

Nice job considering I just gave you a crochet hook for the first time like 2 weeks ago. Smiley I love it!

ha! AND it took me getting me sick as a monkey to buckle down and teach myself to crochet.  i need to stay focused on knitting my sweater though.  *whine* whine*  but it takes so long *whine*  crochet is super fast.
