I made this dress for my boss's granddaughter (who lives out in California). She *loves* ladybugs, and I found this remnant at Joann's for next to nothing, so...

I made a scrunchie to go with it, but I'm told she prefers to use it as an ankle bracelet. This picture just gives me a warm fuzzy.  Smiley

Verizon, who's hosting the pic, is acting a little strangely tonight so let me know privately if you can't see it. Thanks!

That is so adorable!  Did you use a pattern? My little niece would look so cute in it. You're so sweet!

Thanks! Nah, no pattern. I saw a picture of a dress like it online and figured I could probably wing it. I'm usually no good at working without a pattern, but I've raised my niece (who's 12 now) and I have a pretty good recollection of what she looked like at age four.

Also, it was a really good sewing day for me. I have days where I can't put together a pincushion out of two squares of cloth and some fiberfill.
