That's why I use collage techniques!

I can only draw people sometimes - there are days when I can do technical anatomical drawings, and some days...I may as well have tried to draw using my toes while drunk and riding a runaway horse   On those days it's strictly stick-figures for me.

I can't draw humans either- that's why both mine with figures were collaged. But really even if I could, you can't beat Botticelli anyway

Great Empress cards Kaos and Bobolink!  I'm very partial to collage myself, drawing always takes me forever.  I plan on doing the whole set  with the same elements-collage, printed page, 3D stuff and one theme per card.  I love hearing the thoughts behind the vision for these cards, its really interesting.

All three of mine were a little different, and none had an actual full human figure on it. Certainly not a hand drawn one! (Go through a lot of card blanks attempting that feat! Hehe)

I think my insecurity lies in the simplicity of my work. There are so many layers both to the images and the meanings here, and I can't help but think my own cards pale in comparison.

Sometimes simple is the best illustration of an ideal.  I like how we're getting so many variations on the same theme-I love doing themes for that very reason.

Its difficult to get past the "artist insecurity" isn't it.  In some ways though I think ATC's get you past that-cause its all about the sharing of art and of your ideas.  I like making something then mailing it-seeing it again in a week or two is like looking with "fresh" eyes.  And art in the mail instead of bills, well

I received my High Priestess from Amaryllisroze today and it is A-MAZING!    I will try and post pictures very soon!

I can't really draw well at all, only a few things, and they're not really that good.. even though I've taken art lessons upon art lesson, but put me in front of a computer with a mouse or my tablet and touchpad, and I'm good to go.  I can do almost anything digitally, but not by hand (or pen and ink.. a monitor and ink yes! )

ATC's are just great, they're so much fun to make, and the beauty of them is that it doesn't matter how you make them, or what you make them with, because they're each as unique as the person who makes them!
