Hooray I finally got batteries so I can get the pics of Merliquin's AWESOME SHINY Firefly goodies that she made for me. (I got em about a week ago) THANKS SO MUCH!

First of all, I got this awesome stenciled tank top that says "Hero of Canton" so that everyone knows how cool I am :-P Plus, it fits sooo well and is really comfortable.

I also got a Jayne hat, which is classic of course. But then I realized it was a PURSE. How genius! Now I can "wear" it all year long instead of just when it's cold. It's really well made and it's lined with a nice suble black print.

When I picked up the bag I heard a tinkling, and thus discovered four awesome pins featuring Jayne, Mal, Jayne's hat ("Pretty cunning, don't ya think?") and the Serenity Chinese characters (not shown, it's on my messenger bag at home.)

Then I discovered this sweet etched message in a bottle with the Blue Sun logo.

Inside that ws a recipe for Mudder's Milk! I gotta try it out sometime. Merliquin, have you made it before? I love root beer so I'm sure to love it too!

So, thanks again Merliquin for the sweet gifts! All your hard work shows and I've gotten a lot of compliments already! :-)

the Mudder's milk interesting to make (and drink). I like it, though the texture's kind-of... unique.
hooray! I'm so glad you liked everything. this was a fun first swap.
In other news I just got your package today... WOW. I'm so loved.
I'll post pics as soon as I'm done with school.
   yay firefly! Grin

So...I got the coolest package from tsubomi_chan and my camera batteries are dead!!! Shocked Argh!

I did manage to get one pic in before it died:

It's such a great package and I wanted to share all the goodies close-up, but this will have to do.  Don't know how detailed you can see but there's:

A great Jayne/Hero of Canton canvas bag.  (I get a kick out of the fact that there's a town called Canton near me, plus "The Bank of Canton" by the Trader Joe's I shop at).

A shiny beaded bracelet.

"Wife Soup Mix" which will come in handy on the cold nights ahead...

A little chinese takeout box with the Wash quote "You with the bathing, me with the watching you bathe," and, inside...soap...with little plastic dinosaurs embedded inside, of course (would Wash's soap be any other way?!)

Some yummy chocolate covered strawberries that are, I admit, half gone already. *insert Kaylee-worthy eyeroll  Roll Eyes of pleasure here*

Such a shiny package!  Thanks so much tsubomi_chan!!

Yay, I'm so happy you liked everything. Luckily I snapped a few pictures before sending off Smiley
"Wife Soup Mix" and the boxes the soaps were packed in

The lid of the soup mix

The soaps, two have dinos in them for Wash, the other two are coffee soaps with golden leaves in them for Zoe:

The Hero of Canton bag, and the bracelet:

I didn't get a picture of the chocolate strawberries, but I figure they show up pretty well in taerowyn's picture.
