Well, here's my first pincushion.  Nothing special besides fulling the felt bottom (actually dark gray) and crocheting the flower on top.

It's nice.  I love the gray and turquoise together.

"nothing special" my... anyways! This is nice - subdued and classy, and the crochet is a lovely extra touch, I like it!

Thanks!

I just realized that the top fabric's color didn't come across right in the photo.  It's really a nice pale blue/green color like the embroidery floss, but about 15 shades lighter.

It is soft cotton...and the felt is soft, of course, but it's pretty well stuffed with stuffing so it's nice and firm.

Later!
RM

I was totally intrigued by the title--and surprised as heck that it wasn't actually a fist-shaped pincushion!

Regardless, I dig it.  Good colour combo.  Been meaning to make one of these babies myself...

Oh....hahahahahaa!  I fixed the subject line.  So funny!  I guess now I'm going to have to make a fist pincushion now!

Thanks for being so observant!

LOL,

Wow, what a great first pincushion!

(incidentally, your avatar is the same picture I had as my desktop wallpaper for the longest time - loves it!)
