My DIL saw this in SnB and chose the yarn herrself.  Definitely not what I would have chosen, but now that it is finished, it works!

I had a hard time finding buttons big enough not to fall through the scarf and hat to hold the flowers.
I made a tiny change by doing the first row of sc edging in the same colour as the has or scarf so that the contrast colour was neater because I just couldn't get a neat finish otherwise.
I recommend this project, a good result in a short time and not very difficult.

Looks good. Smiley The scarf works up really fast, doesn't it? I thought it would be boring when I did it, but it was fun.
