I recently got iPhoto and can't figure out how to resize the photos so I can upload them onto craftster. It seems like a pretty basic feature to me, so I can't understand why it is so impossible. Can anyone out there help? Thanks!

I resize pics in photoshop.  I'm not familiar with IPhoto.

Hey, I have the exact same problem. I tried cropping them but that doesn't seem to make a difference of any kind. If I can't resize in iphoto (which seems really absurd but I guess that could be the case) then is there another program on my mac that will rezise them or another program I can download? I don't have the money for photoshop or the like.

iPhoto will crop, but it doesn't really do much to change the file size in my limited experience [I use iPhoto all the time, just never to crop or resize files, for that I do use Photoshop.] However, I can recommend a couple of web-based photo editing options:

1. Snipshot Easy and it lets you save your final product to a flickr or webshots account. Opens files as large as 10MB

2. Picnik Also easy, flash based.

Also, this website compares several web-based editing options

i usually change the size when i export it to my albums.  i'm not on my mac right now so i can't look at it and tell you exactly what i do, but go to export then there should be a size option.

this is what i do... it took me forever to figure it out. i still think there has to be a more convenient way. anyway, this is the process. go to "share" and click on "export". it will show you the dimensions of your photo and you have the option of highlighting that and changing it. i have no idea what these numbers represent or how they translate into the size but by trial and error i figured out that if i change the number in the first box to 500 the picture comes out just under the maximum limit that craftster will accept and seems to be a reasonable size. hope that helps... OH, then I export it to 'photos'. when you want to choose the file from craftster just look in your photos folder and it should be there.
