Swap name: ATC swap ring with book/card holder, round 2
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: rackycoo

Sign-up date range: closed
ATCs must be sent by November 24
Date to send book full of cards by: December 11

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): Yes, 13

Restricted to people who all live in the same country? NO

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants N/A
Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES

Details of swap:

Each person will be responsible for sending out a standard size (2.5"x3.5") ATC card to every other member of the swap, in the theme that each person has chosen.

There will also be a book designed to hold the atc cards received in the swap.

Each participant has selected a theme for both the ATC book/holder the atcs that will be sent to the person making their book.

Working ahead of schedule is perfectly fine, but all atcs need to be mailed by November 24, and rec'd by December 1. Any cards not received by December 1 will need to be re-sent.

A DC# is required for the book (internationally swappers excluded), but not the individual cards. If a card is not received by your partner by the December 1, you will be asked to resend a new card. If the book isn't thick enough for postal requirements, wrap it in bubble wrap.

Confused? Basically, all the participants in this swap will end up with a card done by every other member, plus a book to keep them in.

For the book: This is pretty open; you should ask your partner what they'd prefer (a book, holder, etc. ) You can alter a book, hand-bind a new book, modify a tin (Altoid tins are too small), or create some sort of odd and unusual holder. The only requirements are that it contain at least all the cards received, and that it is in the theme your partner picked.
...

I am in!  Wouldn't sit this one out again for the world!  Now to start cutting up some books and painting in them.....

I think I selected Classic Paris/Eiffel tower for my theme.  What has everyone else settled on?

My theme was creepy crawlies, I just love 'em!

Apart from Daddy Long Legs (not the spider version), they make me squeal when they fly towards me dangling their long legs, yuck!

I squished a Caterpillar today unintentionally when it crawled out of my broccoli Sad it was so sad. I had to bury it.

I would LOVE to do a creepy crawly book, with lots of beetles and sketches of bugs in it, that's SO cool!  Great choice Phizzy!

Ooh, creepy crawlies would be cool!  I think I will go with old time comedians from the black and white era (sadly I still remember some of it!).  Think Three Stooges or Groucho Marx and his brothers.

Phizzy- May that caterpiller rest in peace.  I hope the broccoli was in your garden or grocery cart and not on your plate!!!

Um, when I first read this, I thought you meant broccoli that you were eating. I was totally freaked, and then I realized you probably meant... in your garden. Right?

Yup, it came from some delivered veg. Being organic I'm used to being especially careful about the creeping things some of it houses, but I hadn't noticed it until I squished it Undecided I think I would have puked if I'd eaten it! Yuk!

I've just gone through the PM, there's some really cool themes! It's going to be another great round!
