That is one of the coolest lamps I have ever seen. I'm so impressed by the fact that you were able to rewire everything and, to quote Tim Gunn, "make it work." Great job. Definitely deserving of being on the front page.

Hi-larious! My mom would make homemade french fries for dinner sometimes (it's a veggie!) and seeing this lamp just made me laugh! Great job! I'm, still stuck on trying to fix my light switch in my bedroom.

How did you do the re-wiring? I know it might be kind of difficult to explain, but I'm really interested in taking things apart and wires and stuff, but unfortunately I don't really know as much as I'd like about doing it.  Did you read a book, or did you study/work with this particular type of stuff?  Anyway, though, that is an amazing piece of equipment/art!!!! I'm so jealous of your talent!!!

The new light in the switch and the integrated dimmer are the kind of thing that take a piece from coolness to the level of a high-functioning work of art. Great job!!

OMG this is so cool! You make me want to persuade my mum to give up her cooker for me to do the lamp!
