that is so beautiful, canarysanctuary!  i love the colors.

i think it's time i finally give this a shot.  everyone says it's easy once you get through the first couple of rows.

i don't have anyone in mind to give it to, so i guess i'm making it for....ME!!!!!!! Wink

Thanks so much Me-Shell!
It's true:  the first couple of rows require some patience and perhaps another cast on (I had to!) but after that the pattern burns itself into your brain and I hardly have to look at the book anymore Smiley

I know what you mean. I have the thing totally memorized. Its totally thoughtless now. I just sit, watch tv, and knit.  I really want to get it done as soon as possible.  The colors of the Noro are gorgeous and remind me of a darker fall peacock.  I promised myself that when I finished Id go out and buy a pretty brooch to match. Horay!

canarysanctuary: That is lovely! You're doing a great job on it! I hope to god I will finish mine by this weekend, lol. With school and swaps and stuff Im being very, very pokey!  Embarrassed

prettyknit Yours is lovely too! I am so in love with pattern, every time I see a new colorway I am just awed by how cool it is. Once I finish this one for my mom I might have to make one for me just to play with another colorway!  Cheesy

Thanks so much, Nymeria!  I can't wait to get to work on it... even right now my fingers are itching Smiley
SlickMariaVic - "dark fall peacock" colours sound lovely.  I can't wait to see it.  I think I need to find a nice pin to go with mine too (haha, any reason to look!)

I'm doing the scarf-sized version, the "Baby Eleanor", in Patons SWS and it is really starting to look pretty now that I am getting into it. I hated the pattern for the first few rows but then it got a LOT better!  Cheesy

Very cute so far! I'm going to have to buy some sws some day and try it out because I love all the ways your guys have knit up! Im finishing up ball 5, only one ball left! I bought batteries the other day so once finals are complete I'll have time to post some pictures. I'll probably have to get at least 1 more ball. Its probably about 40 inches so far.
