Why do you guys do this to me? People in the KALs are so nice and helpful. Now I have to make one of these! Cheesy

hehe it's all part of my master plan for world domination through Lady Eleanor KALs! /cackle

Seriously though c'mon in, the etrelac water is fine! I had next to NO progress this past week on mine. Thanksgiving, school and a swap put a bit of a damper on it, but hopefully by the weekend I can finish it! Smiley

What size needle is this done on? I'm wondering if I could use some Silk Garden Lite I've been drooling over. Wink

Silk Garden Lite is a lot lighter in weight than th eyarn called for inthe pattern.

I used Patons SWS (about the same weight as Kureyon or regular worsted Silk Garden) and I used size 9.

I think maybe you woul dneed size 8 with the SG Lite.

That's around what I was thinking. It's just that my lys is in the next town, so I have to go knowing what I need. There's a colorway of the Lite that's been driving me crazy trying to figure out what to make with it. Cheesy

I'm doing mine with 4.5 mm (7 US) and with Noro SG.  I loves it so far!  One thing, though:  this is of course a smaller gauge than the one in the pattern, so I'm afraid I just might have to buy some more yarn to make it a good length (I have 10 balls now, and am on my 5th one.  Not long enough, me thinks).  Progress pics soon!

I have finished my lady eleanor two weeks ago but only manage to tie in all the knotted fringe last week. I really enjoy knitting this stole. Is quite confused for the first row but after a few row you can just sing along. I did the stole in only 7 repeat of square, instead of 8 square. I think is wide enough for me. I use only 9 skein of Noro Kureyon on 4.5mm needle and it turn out 74" after block which longer that the pattern call for.

Thanks for the stats, Prettyknit.  I needed those!  Now I can rest assured that my 10 skeins o' Noro will finish the job for me Smiley
And here is the promised WIP photo:

This is about 4.5 skeins of Noro SG 208 into my Lady E.  I can't wait to block it Smiley
