Thank you, I actually went to the yahoo KAL and found a link there to her etsy! You can order the pdf through there, I guess you just leave a message when you order about whether you want it as a pdf or on paper.

I just have to finish one project before I move on to this. Oh and I still have to get yarn.  Undecided

And knittinfiasco I'm loving the purple/blue/green that you chose. Those are the colors that I'm considering for mine too.

Thanks, bijou_raoul!

I'm just glad I finally found a project for this yarn!  It was an oops! purchase (loved the color, forgot to read the fine print, didn't understand the meaning of length/weight numbers--learned quickly after that!  Wasn't going to work as a warm comfy Christmas scarf.  God provides!  I think my recipient would have had an allergic reaction to the alpaca content--it's not as hypoallergenic as they claim--and the yarn I went with for the scarf worked beautifully! Grin).

Just finished row 31--the first with the dreaded horizontal stitches.  There has got to be a better way to knit this than the directions call for!

This shawl is so beautiful! I only discovered it earlier this week, and have already sent a link to my non-knitting sister who loves dragons! It's definitely on my wish-to-knit list, but I wonder if I'd ever actually be able to tackle it!

well....... it's well charted, every stitch of every row - my original thought was to use a laceweight colorway that I had gotten on clearance - but i don't[ have enough yardage (about 200 yards short)
BUT
I have enough laceweight in black that I got in a swap, so I'll just switch out which shawl i make out of which yarn......

2 shawls, 2 sets of yarn, it all works out

and the woman who designed the dragon one, she's a lovely lady - i was chatting with her in emails today

winsauer patterns are definitely among the most difficult knitting techniques to knit.
