Rosered, I didn't mean to ignore your comment earlier...yes, the Homespun is quite warm.  Smiley (I knitted myself 2 pair of pants from it...love washable stuff)

LOL! They are the No Sweat Pants, from the spring 04 issue of Interweave Knits. I hoped the pattern might be online so I could give you the link, but no such luck, alas. Sad It looks like they still have back issues to sell though. The magazine is really worth the money; it's 1 of the few (ok, 3  Cheesy) that I still subscribe to.

alo42d, the yarn is called Homespun, the colorway is Tudor. (waves to Tinkerbell)  Smiley
