Isobel (my avatar) loves to be held.  I love to hold her.  Unfortunately for us both I have a lot of crap I have to get done and most of it requires the use of both arms.  So I sewed her up a sling.  It took me about half an hour from start to finish and I'm a VERY novice sewer.  I used some sheer, gold embroidered fabric I found in the remnant bin at Hobby Lobby and some dark green microfleece to line it with.  I wish I had better pics but the bathroom lighting leaves much to be desired.

Aww, what a total sweetheart and great design. I have 2 cats that can't stand being left on the ground and constantly meow when im not holding them but i doubt they'd put up with a sling eithger lol. You have a very patient and loveable dog.

She hasn't left it since I put her in it, so I think that means she likes it  Grin

She'll pop her head out when I move around, but otherwise she snuggles up and snoozes.  It's probably very soft and warm.  She's so spoiled, all our animals are.

That is great!I have a little 3 legged cat that always wants me to carry him around. He's nice and plump so that isn't always easy,I should totally make one of these for him.

Very cute idea! We have a new kitten and she always wants to be right where you are every second of the day (probably for protection from the older cats! ) A little hard though when brushing your teeth or making dinner   Tongue
It's nice that your dog is so cuddly! Is she a dachshund?
