I have that pattern - yours are the first completed ones I've seen.  They look great, and I love your outfit too!

I love these! I was just checking out the pattern book yesterday, but decided I didn't want to buy it just for this pattern... you may have changed my mind. They look great!

I like the socks too, but how come nobody's mentioned how cute you look?  Mwrowr!   Cheesy

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

those are pretty amazing!

great job!

my knitting is far from being even close to being able to make something like that...I'm still trying to understand teh difference between knit and purl, and how to not make one look like the other...

Guys, thanks so much for all the sweet comments! I absolutely love these socks, and would highly recommend them, even for beginners- the lace pattern is really easy, and I think it would be a good introduction to socks.

Just thought I'd share how I incorporated the socks into my Halloween costume on Saturday:

The only problem was that I didn't realize how slippery handknit socks can be- in the middle of my party I wiped out on the wood floors in front of everyone, and fell flat on my butt!  Embarrassed whoops!

Happy Halloween everyone!  Grin
