I designed and hand printed the patterns on 110 lb acid free premium card stock with water based printing ink.

I love the birds! The texture you use around the edges on them is great. How did you do that? I spend a ridiculous amount of money every Christmas for gift tags and I'd love to try to make my own this year. Thanks for the inspiration!

(And great books too, I keep giving looks of admiration to my friends who've made their own sketchbooks)

Hi Brima, Thanks for the lovely comments. The texture around the edge is actually created using a rubber stamp I bought. Pretty neat huh?Cheesy

Thanks! Since 24 pages doesn't make a thick notebook, I just stapled them on the side and trimed off the edge.

Nice job!

I made them! I guess I'd save a lot of time if I print on store bought ones, but that wouldn't be very special:D Plus I covered them with an adhesive vintage vinyl sheet I found!
