I am totally interested but I won't be able to start it till I finish the sweater I am working on.  Are you going to use the suggested Debbie Bliss yarn or try to substitute something else?

I tried this one last week, and to no avail. I think I was using yarn that was way too thick. It says "DK-weight yarn" and I used worsted weight. I think I should have been using sock yarn though. Right???

It means Slip Slip Knit.  Slip one knitwise (as if you are going to knit) from left needle to right, Slip another one the same way then you place the two slipped stitches back on the left needle (in their new direction) and knit those two together. Does that make sense??

I don't know what color - I think lime green would look cool but I will proably just go with pink or purple.

Boo,

Just bring the yarn between the needle tips like you're going to purl then flip it back over the top of the right needle, stick the right needle into the next stitch on the left needle, and knit away!

Once you get that down you can do all kinds of cool lacy things. Give it a whirl.

Speaking of whirls, I'm going to give Belle Star a whirl. I have some old Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in a bright green hanging around that might just work. Anyone else working on it?
