does anyone want to organize this. this would be such a great swap.

my daughter is reading a new series that has sherlock holms sister
as a detective i believe she is 14 yrs old in the book. i was a bit surprised when prostitutes were mentioned but all in all it seems like a good book.

Hey,Gumshoegal,
Do you remember the name of that new series your daughter is reading,or the author? I'm curious.Here I work in the kid's dept. of a bookstore,and that one somehow slipped by me.
I hope this swap really happens. I'm too new to craftster to host one myself.I've never participated in a swap yet even! Maybe after all the holiday stuff is over some craftster goddess will consider it? At the least,it's been fun to talk about.javascript:void(0);

Gumshoegal, I've got a dilemma. As a new craftster member, I can only  join one swap,then wait for feedback before I'm allowed to do more. There is a discworld swap starting feb third. I would love to do both-obviously I can't.  If it's going to be a while before this one starts,however, I'd hate to miss the other one.
I do love the idea of the girl detective swap-it does sound like great big gangs of fun. And if it's going to start up fairly soon I'll wait for it. But if not, I'd like to go ahead and do the other swap while waiting.
Also, I need to let you know as organizer uploading pictures of swap goodies is difficult. My daughter has a digital camera-unfortunately I have windows 98,and her camera and my computer aren't compatible. I should have a working scanner, so I can scan and upload that way.I don't know if that makes a difference in swap participation or not. I would,of course,do detailed descriptions and glowing thanks right away!
I'll keep checking the boards.Thanks!
