Doing the shrinkys in a mosaic style on top of the tin was a fun idea.

Thanks!  It was a fun theme to craft for!  Now I am way behind on all my other projects due this weekend, so I guess I was procrastinating by distracting myself with the fun-ness of that tin!

Drat - I'm so bummed I missed this one. I had marked down to sign up before the 31st but I should have realized it would fill up quickly. I will keep an eye out for Round 4.

In the meantime I will enjoy the gallery. Love, love, love the skullies!!

Awesome!!! as I was so curious about it from the beginning, OriginalYouth gave me the chance to have a peek and I was almost speechless, it is so beautiful! what a great idea of doing a mosaic with shrinkies! wow! so detailed and well made. And I love the contents too, especially the charm bracelet looks so beautiful!

Ok, it just occured to me than when you said "one inch square" that EACH tile was 1 inch, not all 18 of them together....wow, blame the cold medicine on that one!

Yes dear, each tile was 1" square before they were baked.

Well, I got my Tin from LuxieLou this afternoon and it ROCKS!

She made the tin itself in Wonder Woman theme,  and filled it with Ice Cream items! 

Here it 'tis:

The tin itself is covered with Red fimo on top, and a wonder woman logo made of shrinky dink plastic.  The bottom is covered with blue fimo, and white stars are applied to the top of that, so it is VERY 3-D and cool!  Also, 2 wonder woman shrinky necklaces.  (action shot and reason for 2 to follow).

Next, the inside of the tin was ice cream lovelyness!

Top L, clockwise:
Ice Cream charm (adopted by my daugther's fave hoodie), 2 Ice Cream Pins, and A PEZ Charm (destined for my fave hoodie!).
At the bottom, a FANTASTIC Ice Cream charm bracelet!  I'm going to pick my outfit around it so I can wear it to the party I'm going to this evening!  Sooooo cute!  I had hinted that I wanted one, and she came through like a champ!

Last, the obligatory action shot; my 3 year old obliged.  She is wearing HER Wonder Woman necklace (she can't have mine!)
