1977 Sesame Street Doll Crochet Kits

I'm super excited about these kits Big Bird and Bert have never been opened.Oscar was opened but never used. The person balled a few skeins of yarn then gave up on the project. The yarn is really rough but I bought it more for the patterns and sense of nostalgia than anything else.I'm not really in crochet mode right now so I have a feeling these will join my stash until I get my knitting bug out. It seemed wrong having Bert without Ernie so I hunted him down.On my search for Ernie I found a website with the patterns for Oscar,Cookie Monster and Ernie.

I was thinking about making these to gift and maybe sell but I doubt kids would be intersted in a toy that doesn't do tricks. Oh well at least I'm amused by them. [/color]

Oh! My great-grandmother (99, still livin' and craftin') recently passed a pile of craft books/ magazine articles/ torn out thingies she'd kept since forever. One page was an advertisement for these crochet patterns, with all the Sesame Street characters done. I should scan that page so  you guys can see the all the finished dolls - they're great! How awesome of you to find the patterns to some. :-D
