We've tested realtime chat features before, but I'm not sure if there are any plans to reinstate one in the future.

My most humble apologies if this has already been suggested.

I'd really enjoy a flat out discussion board on craftster. I really don't know where to post anything about how fun a particular craft show was and it is really difficult to get to know other craftsters without one. It would be a really useful place to put all those 'off topic' threads.

I know I'm replying to a really old post, I just saw it 'cause the "new" feature jumped me up the page and... I really miss the real time chat! >_> if only I was more of a wiz at irc server setup...

What about an open discussion board?

where you can talk about anything (as long as it's clean)

We could share funny moments,stories, jokes,clips from the comics
and just general chit chat?

I have learned a lot about other people in this category on other forums

because people talk about themselves more than just in the specific categories boards.
