I've been making a blog for my mom where I've cataloged some of her beautiful work.

Fishes http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2006/09/fishes.html
Birds
http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2005/11/birds-of-different-feathers.html
http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2006/08/birds-of-many-feathers-still-flocking.html
Landscapes & waterscapes

http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2006/03/new-embroidery.html
http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2005/12/houses-village.html
http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2005/12/fields-gardens-forest.html
http://creativeembroidery.blogspot.com/2005/11/using-yarn-my-daughter-spun.html

These are just a few links on her blog. The rest of her blog has more.

All of these are her original works. She's a self taught artist.

Cheers!  Cheesy

gorgeous.

want to know something? i've seen your mother's/your blog before -- it was mentioned on another blog i read or visited, and i  ogled all her work, it's got such a distinctive, personal style. her  story is fascinating too. i doubt it's easy all the time, but it must be very interesting having a mother working in needle arts while you make such beautiful yarn (yes, i did check out your blog too).

You are fantastic! Every thing looks great but if I had to choose one it would be a fish of some kind.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

Thanks for looking everyone!
I take lots of pictures of her work when I visit my mom.
Sometimes she sends me pictures which I upload (or try to regularly). She's a wiz with a needle & sewing machine.
