Hey, everybody -

I got inspired by a repeat viewing of Amelie this weekend... now I am looking for a sweater/jacket/cardigan pattern similar to some on this page:
http://www.whiteliesdesigns.com/patterns/lcardigans.html

I particularly like Marcella, Madeline, and the Angelina Vintage Jacket. I can't knit so...I must find a crochet pattern. I've searched for a while on craftster, some of the various free and paid pattern sites, and looked at Amazon. Now I'm turning to my crafster friends for help!

Do you have a pattern I can beg, borrow, or steal? Do you know a book with a similar pattern?

Grazie!!

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

This is rather Amelie-esque: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=34278.0

Whoa, the above linked to pattern looks exactly like
Frou Frou from the Happy Hooker, I am wondering if that post is by the same person who wrote the pattern.

If you don't already have the book, I absolutely love it, and would recommend it for patterns other than just Frou Frou- which is a good pattern.

Excellent. Thanks! I really love the one Radioactive linked to but I don't think I'm good enough to make those changes to the pattern the way Suz_Anne did, lol. However...the other one looks pretty good. I will check out Happy Hooker, too.

The "Angelina" from White Lies Design pattern can also be found on Softmemories.com. It's called "Charmer Breakfast" or something like that.  I am confused as to why 2 different websites have the same picture for a pattern. In any event, I bought it off of Softmemories.com because it was much cheaper. You getr 210 patterns for 12.95. You get access to them for one month.
