JACKSONVILLE CRAFT FAIR

Would anyone be interested in participating in an indie/alternative craft fair in Riverside, Jacksonville area?? I was a vendor at a recent craft fair in Savannah, GA, and I absolutely fell in love with the idea of organizing one here in Jax....the website to the one in Savannah is www.mutationcraftfa ir.com and I would want it to be pretty similar to that.

I would totally be in. I live in Melbourne and I saw the one in Savannah but it was just too far for the weekend for me with my day job schedule. I know we can get some more things going in florida. if the one in jacksonville can be pulled together. i would be interested in organizing one down this way, melbourne or orlando after the holidays!

I know that KnitWitz offers spinning classes and will be carrying Majacraft wheels. I think Kate, the teacher there, might do wheel classes too, if you asked. I know Rebecca just learned to spin a bit ago (I worked at Stitch in Time for two years), and Rebecca had mentioned that it wasn't really her thing. I know Kate was, at one time, talking about starting a local spinning guild. There's a weaving guild that sometimes does spinning classes, too.

I'd do a craft show for sure. There was one in Springfield a couple weeks ago at Inertia, it was awesome but i would have loved to see more people with a table! There was only between 5 and 8 vendors i think

Wow this sounds like a lot of fun. I'd like to hear more about it if you guys decide to set it up. I'm sure my cousin would be thrilled too. An actual organized way to sell our knit bits^^
