On one of Eunny's posts about stranded colourwork recommends blocking to stitch gauge and aiming for row gauge. Remember oftena .5 mm change in needle size will affect your row count more than stitch count. You might want to swatch with whatever gives you row gauge and see if you can block it to st count.

I've also had problems with my row gauge. For now I'm getting stitch gauge, and have decided to try to block it to row gauge, since it stretches a lot. Earlier when I got row gauge on 3 mm needles it turned out waaay to big and I didn't like how it looked at all.

Anyway, here's my progress so far. I'll be moving on slowly from now on, since I want to knit some more summer tops and figure I won't be wearing the Venezia until autumn anyway.

Hope this works...

I'm mostly finished with the body.  I just need to cut the steeks (hopefully tonight!) and do all of the finishing.  My neck steeks are different from the pattern because I modified it to have a scooped neckline. My progress is below.

Beautiful!  All of the photos are nice and inspiring.  I only hope that I can knit this pattern.  I have all the yarn, I am just too afraid to start.

Thanks everyone!   Grin  I cut the steeks last night and am really happy with the shape of the neckline.  I'll try to post a picture of it later today.  I want to seam the shoulders and weave in a few of the bazillion ends that need to be woven in first.
