So yeah I really want to knit this! But so many needles?? Unfortunately my lovely Denise needle set doesn't come with size 0 or 2 so gotta buy those I guess, plus yarn. But I'm really excited to start this as soon as I can!!

I just ordered Palette to swatch for this in the color chart I made and think I like best (it's the pink & grey/black). It really came down to being between that and the pink & brown, but I am going to swatch this and see how well I like it. I am going to do a hat as my swatch! I have never done colorwork, so I figure all the practice I can get will be good. I am first going to knit Eunny's Endpaper mitts and Anemoi mittens. This year is my year to learn colorwork, so I have plenty of projects planned out for it. I think this will be the greatest knitting challenge I've had almost since I started!

I hope I have the right size needles, didn't even think of that. What do yall find best for colorwork, bamboo or metal, or plastic? Addi Turbos? I have needles in smaller sizes, but I am not sure I have them in the right size for this sweater... I know I don't have 0s. I have a size 2 Addi Turbo, but I think it's larger than a size 2 in other needles. Hmmm, whoops! I may not even be able to swatch for awhile, because it seems now that I'm going to have to order needles online, too. Recommendations, anyone?

I am wondering if Koigu KPPM would be a good substitute for the Spindrift.  Has anyone tried it out?

Just wanted to show a progress shot - I've pared it down to 2 colours and I am utterly obsessed with it. Just finished the decrease rows, so am about 6 inches in.

Ooooh, that is gorgeous! I love how everyone is finding such great colors and personalizing them to their own taste. I can't wait to see how yours comes out!

I'm wondering how you guys who made the grid with the color schemes did that-- did you use a special program? I'm interested in experimenting with colors too!
