I went to the The Decemberists show in Los Angeles last night and picked up the limited edition patterns. Yea!

My husband is already picking out the t-shirt and floss he wants me use for his t-shirt. For myself, I think a hoodie is in order.

They're so much fun Jenny. Great job.

Ack!  I looooooove the Decemberists - but they're not coming to Calgary and it's too much money right before Christmas to take a trip to see them in Vancouver.   Undecided

Are there any Crafters going to a Canadian (or elsewhere, I suppose) show who'd be willing to pick up a kit and mail it to me?   Of course I'd cover the costs (and knit you up a thank you!)

Oooh... yes... any Decemberists fans who will be concert-going and willing to mail me a set too? Smiley

Damn. When I was driving home I thought, "Oh, I should have gotten a bunch for those people who can't make it to the concerts."

Hindsight is indeed 20/20.

The shop on the official Decemberists site currently only has t-shirts, but there is contact info. If there's enough requests they may be able to add the patterns, or arrange some sort of direct mailing on a "per request" basis.

Good news for those who do make it to the show; they are only $3. I was expecting inflated merch table prices.

You can always make your own Decemberists' patterns too...

Here's a jacket I finished around January based off of "Red Right Ankle":
(there would be a picture here, but the board won't let me! So, just click below for a crafty blog post.)
