Completed!  It's been sitting, unseamed for a couple of months while I putzed around with other things.  Good thing it doesn't have an owner--they would have outgrown it!  I just wanted the challenge--and it was so darn cute.  My question:  anyone know of a similar pattern for an adult??  Has anyone made this in an adult size and can give me some pointers???  I've never altered a pattern that much!!



and the back--the picture of the back on knitty.com is what made me want to make this in the first place!

knitty's Josphine is very similar to that. You could tweak it to put some moss stitches in there to make it look more like this gorgeous little one you've made.

This looks very much like the bell sleeved sweater from vogue knitting. There's even a knitalong going on right now... I'm not sure of the exact URL, but it should be somewhere at the top.
